Covid-19: a psychological support helpline for healthcare professionals with SPS

Press release of 23 March 2020. The association Healthcare Professionals Support (SPS) is opening its psychological support service to all healthcare professionals, available 24/7 on 0 805 23 23 36.

In response to the Covid-19 epidemic, the association Healthcare Professionals Support (SPS), recognised as serving the public interest, is mobilising its psychological support and care service for all healthcare professionals. ANFIIDE is relaying this call: every professional should know about this service.

Telephone support available 24/7

  • Freephone number: 0 805 23 23 36, available 24/7.
  • Mobile application 'Asso SPS', free on iOS and Android.
  • Calls are handled by the 100 psychologists on the Pros-Consulte platform, who listen, provide support and refer on if necessary.

More than 4,500 calls had been received since the platform was created in November 2016.

A national network of consultations

The national psychosocial risk network, created by SPS with its partners Souffrance & Travail, the Armed Forces Health Service and Morphée, brings together nearly 1,000 psychologists, general practitioners and psychiatrists. They offer consultations and remote consultations to healthcare professionals in distress.

Why this service

On the front line for detecting the virus and treating patients, healthcare professionals are under strain and anxious. Supporting and listening to them enables them to carry out their mission under good conditions.
